FALL SEMESTER RECAP EVENTS & EXHIBITS

Post-sabbatical, I completed my first semester of teaching and I had an absolute blast sharing my sabbatical experiences and learning with all of my students! After being away for one year, reintegration was interesting, funny, and weird at times. Regardless, it was a busy semester working full-time and going to school full-time yet my sabbatical work continues to yield new opportunities. I am working on some commissions that I need to finish (I will post some pictures in the New Year – very AHS!). Here is a recap of what’s been happening and what is coming up for an exciting 2015! Sometimes, I think I need to pinch myself however, I definitely know that I am exactly where I need to be at this moment and I continue to be on the right path.

The Shelburne Museum PKN Volume 14 from November 13th has been published online and via RETN, the Burlington, Vermont local access TV channel, has an upcoming air date on New Year’s Eve 🙂 Here’s the link for my PKN sabbatical overview below

Faculty Presents Unique Gift to President Laackman from Toni-Lee Sangastiano

It was a total honor to have my drawing, created at the Angel Academy during my sabbatical – Capitoline Ariadne, selected as the gift to represent the entire Champlain College faculty for our new President!!! Amazing!

3 days of non-stop studio visits and talking about all of my sabbatical work. I saw so many current students, alums, colleagues, friends, and regulars who come to my studio every year for Art Hop!
