Shelburne Museum Public Lecture: Toni Lee Sangastiano

Saturday, October 15
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Pizzagalli Center for Art and Education

Meet Toni Lee Sangastiano, artist, designer, Ph.D. candidate, and Associate Professor at Champlain College. She is known for her realistic portraits of sideshow performers and is one of the leading sideshow banner painters in the United States. Inspired by the final elephant performance at Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Sangastiano will discuss her elephant sculptures featured in Papering the Town: Circus Posters in America. Here’s a sneak peek at my new work Pink Elephants!

The exhibition runs until January 22, 2017.
